Hokkaido University’s School of Veterinary Medicine was founded in 1952 and will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2027. In order to pass on the knowledge and ideals of veterinary medicine built by our predecessors to the next generation and continue to challenge ourselves for further development in the future, we have planned the “Hokkaido University School of Veterinary Medicine 75th Anniversary Commemoration Project”. In implementing this project, we hope to create a synergistic effect with Hokkaido University’s 150th anniversary in 2026, so we will move up the schedule by one year and hold the project mainly in October 2026 under the catchphrase “A Bridge to 100 Years – Knowledge and Challenges from 75 Years of the School of Veterinary Medicine”.
